Bing is easy to use

Anything but Google seems good to me. I've been cycling between Startpage and the Duck.

DDG for a long time now, but might give Searx a try now.

DDG -> Bing -> Google for other items

yandex, one of the few left where I can actually find things

I remember back before google got big you needed four or five search engines, each one good at different things.

Now that google is shit, what's old is new. yandex for some things that would be censored or down-prioritized elsewhere, bing for others, google still has its uses, duck duck go for the easy stuff

I recently switched to Duck Duck Go. It gives me a bit different search results than google.
Sometimes I even need to go back to google for certain searches, because Duck is not giving me what I want, but on another side, Duck sometimes shows weird things in bizzare accuracy.
I mean there was some stalking incident lately on a certain cosplayer, so I wanted to check what was happening, I was her fan, but as a FIRST result, Duck gave me a link to a blog, of a person who was filming his masturbating sessions, while cranking his shit to her pictures.
Pretty weird given the situation, but in a way, an accurate result. Google had no results like this. They are both kinda different, but Duck feels more unhinged. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I use Bing. no real reason, it's just the default that my default browser use. and i just don't want to bother to change it

I ended not caring enough to switch back to google after "switching" to ddg just because it was installed by default. I still think google is a lot better, especially for older or obscure stuff, where it generally gets it whereas ddg more often just latches onto one term.

I use 4get, which is like searx, but supports yandex.

Been using Startpage a lot more as of late. It gives pretty good results on top of looking really nice.

But it forces "local" content to me which is completely unrelated to my search request

Just today I bought another Kagi 1 month subscription for 12 USD for unlimited searches. I think it's way too expensive. But search is very important and a huge issue. So I wanna see again if it might be worth it.

Current satisfaction level: It's better than using DDG but it's not "good"

Also using !bangs are totally essential for me, especially !yt for youtube videos. But those are quite widespread supported

Google or bing

Google with site:reddit.com at the end. Troubleshooting server issues shows so many shit articles but Reddit always seems to bring the answer I need. The day Reddit dies is the day I become a farmer.

Tbh I've not given Bing or DDG a proper go. Maybe they're better now that Google tries adding AI to their results...
