If you're talking about Yoshihiro Togashi, it's known he stops making new comics every time a new popular game comes out. Frankly, if the writer doesn't pause, he just starts writing drivel and filler. As far as I'm aware, Togashi gets inspiration from his gaming pauses (Greed island, for example), and the pause is usually worth it. Better pauses than HxH turning into Naruto. |

Well yeah, there's certainly that. I heard rumors saying he was ill or, hence the AIDS part in my prev. post.
Still, I really wished he'd not wait for a whole year again.

I find it good to try other works when these guys pause. I would recommend Level E and Yu Yu Hakusho if you liked HxH (also Togashi). Other manga that i'm gay for are Yotsubato, Liar Game, Onani master Kurosawa (probably one of the best manga ever written in ever), Kenichi is sweet too, Sketchbook is also brilliant if you enjoy art, Bartender, and Those Who Hunt Elves (it's not as stupid as it seems). |

Oh boy, might go for one of those. If only I could find enough interest. I started so many only to be utterly disappointed. You know when you think you can't judge a manga on its start and want to give it time? I had that so many times, only to waste another two hours waiting for it to get good, finding nothing but chibi frames and kawaii stuff mixed in. I hate that.
Mainly because I think all that is kawaii should die.
I thought Blame! was pretty damn awesome, even with as few words of explanation as it had. Ever given it a read?

Finally... I will have a couch. Craigslist came through and I found a pretty nice couch for $60. It shall be delivered tonight and I will be one step closer to having a presentable place.
Next up, a dining table. After that, some friends to actually get use out of this shit.
