Hmmm, just realized tomorrow is 6.25. A historical day for Korea, something something something World War II or the Korean War or Japanese Occupation or something.
I can only think that it's a shame that it falls on a Saturday with no classes, which means I don't get a day off.
I am a horrible patriot.

You can only be considered unpatriotic if you consider that country your home to begin with.

What does the future hold for Blorg after this year and two months? Our home and native land?

I go back to Canada, finish university. Then I possibly off myself after the revelation that I have nothing I can achieve in life.
I have 1 year in Korea to change that, mayhaps.

We will hang out when that happens. I'll mark the date on my Calendar. QUOTE(BlorgAlmighty @ Jun 23 2011, 18:06) Then I possibly off myself after the revelation that I have nothing I can achieve in life.

Life is long kid; don't let anyone tell you otherwise. As such, never think you can't achieve anything - there is still much to do - you'll find your place soon enough. Just choose a (realistic - it's no use to dream that the French will develop manners, for instance) dream and aim at that with all your might: I give you my word it will come true.

Mmm. Small steps. I can now wake up before 12 pm by myself. This is a huge accomplishment. Sleep is now my bitch. I no longer feel as sleepy as I used to. I am of the belief that if I were to go back to university in Canada, I would not fall asleep in class anymore. I may even pay attention and get better grades.

Solution: choose afternoon classes*.
* Source: I'm the laziest motherfucker, ever. Though my diploma says otherwise, I'm rather sure I graduated with a degree in procrastination, with a minor in BS.

It all depends on the classes, I think.
Fun Story: I once took Children's Literature in my 3rd or 4th year. I skipped a shitload of classes. One of them was a class where the prof handed out a sheet of paper with three passages from different poems / stories from the text. We were to write an essay about one of the passages in class. I knew about the essay because I went to the class before it, but not about the sheet with the passages because I was a lazy git. The day of the test, I just skimmed through the shit that had been covered according to the curriculum.
I did fantastically on the exam, because I managed to write about the inherent racism behind the poem of "The Story of the Inky Boys". I only lost points because I failed to connect St. Nicholas (or Agrippa, I think was the replacement in the particular poem) with the story because I hadn't realized who he was because I hadn't been in class.
I also did swimmingly on some other English classes despite not having read the text at all and bullshitting my way through.
Then I did Chaucer and failed miserably.

I'm more of a scientist, so my classes are better taught through books than actual classrooms. As such, it is easier to skip boring classes and study for them through the actual books. There is little to no interpretation, so the professor basically just digests the books for the students during the class. And anything that has to be derived can be BS'd. I do, however, understand your predicament, and am thus quite impressed with your results. Though I should have assumed that to begin with from your writing style and culture. You, sir, are quite deserving of praise. Also, Chaucer and his Canterbury Tales can eat me. Chaucer was a pompous asshat.

Well, I've confirmed (at least in my humble opinion) that there really is a way to intelligently tax people.
In this state, when you buy drinks in certain containers, there will be an extra tax added labeled "MA Deposit". Want that money back? Bring the empty container back for recycling and it's all yours. Too lazy to bypass your trash can? Enjoy the extra tax.
So the state saves resources by encouraging recycling and brings in revenue from people too lazy to do it. To me, this is honestly a brilliant idea and I'd encourage every state to get on board.
