For years now, every time I've listened to "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, I find myself creeped out. I think it's because I, y'know, listen to the lyrics. The song obviously has a stalker-ish element to it, but I seemed to be the only person that I knew who thought that way. I was starting to think that I was maybe too naive to pick up on some other meaning to the song.

Well, it turns out that [www.sting.com] Sting himself said the song is reminiscent of Big Brother, and is sung from the perspective of a controlling, obsessive person.
