Well, this is going to take a while...

Y'know, every time that I have to idle around in a public place while waiting for something, I have to stop and wonder why I don't do it more often. Example being a few hours ago, I had 3 hours to kill while waiting for my car to be repaired, and I enjoyed the fresh air and some of the simple, noncommittal interaction with some complete strangers.

The weather is getting better, albeit slowly. I definitely need to walk and exercise more.

I misinterpreted this at first. My first time reading it, I assumed you were asking for a Superpower to set your arm on fire. I was wondering if you really felt like taking the time to write the American, British or Chinese governments for such a strange request.

And then it clicked that I was mistaken. Or was I?

Can something upscaled from 480i to 1080p really be considered High Definition? Isn't that actually just a resolution trick, and therefore false advertising?

It works with HD. I guess in the same way that a 2.4ghz wireless n router works (no better than what it replaced).

Well, when something declares that it's "Presented in HD," I consider that somewhat of a lie, especially when it was shot with SD cameras.

I'll have to check with my colleagues.

Ah, the wording "Presented in" lets them get away with it. They didn't shoot an HD picture, but they sent one.

When I wrote that, I was on the computer. I then looked at my left arm, then imagined it burning with magical power.

Only the lower arm and hand, though. Everyone knows that upper flaming arm-itis is a symptom of them whatchamacallits.

EDIT: I believe this speaks volumes about my mental state, seeing as I am right-handed, and thus would not be likely to punch people with my left arm.

EDIT EDIT: Maybe if I held my left arm with my right hand and guided it to a fucker's face like a heat seeking missile, only with the heat coming offa my fist because IT'S ON MAGICAL FUCKING FIRE. Ah, the simple pleasures in life that will forever be denied to me.
