I was in a seated section, yes... up in the balcony. The seats actually weren't too bad as it was the front of a section, so I had no one in front of me. No, I didn't sit much, I was on my feet acting a fool, much to the chagrin of my friend. But there was a large section right near the stage where it was standing room only where the real shit was going down. THAT is where I fully intend to be next time. If that's Boston again, so be it but if she comes within a couple hundred miles of my ass, I'll be hitting the road and doing that shit again... and again... and again, ad nauseum.

Each successive book gets more and more bogged down in fever dream vision crap. The first one is amazing, Messiah less so, Children even less, God Emperor was pretty okay, I think and I haven't gotten around to Heretics or Chapterhouse, yet. I plan to, but I have other stuff to look at first.

Daylight Saving Time. Basically, the government saves up daylight hours during the winter months (when it's cloudy most of the time anyway, so no one really notices) and uses them to increase the length of the day during the summer. The amount of daytime transferred varies from one country to another.

Uh-huh. Interesting. In Germany we 'lose' an hour in summer and 'get' one in winter. Also, pretty much everything basically slaps your face with the date you have to adjust your clock.
