QUOTE(cptkleenex @ Feb 11 2011, 03:59) Would anyone be opposed to me murdering Ke$ha? I seriously want to violently murder that bitch right now.
Sure, I'll make sure to get Rihanna, Gwen Stefani-Rossdale, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga while I'm at it, too. QUOTE(Silverlance @ Feb 11 2011, 05:43) I said I would try, never said I would succeed
This seems like a mantra from a bad self help book for those with an addiction they're trying to kick. This post has been edited by Rob Itagaki: Feb 11 2011, 20:48

One of those I will have to defend in armed combat... you are free to do as you wish with the others. You could save yourself a little time if you just put Rihanna in a cage match with Chris Brown. I'm sure he'll handle the rest.

You put me in a difficult position good sir. Destroy them all or let them all live for the sake of the one that matters to me...
What if I put in a word with the president for a pardon for you? Then can we meet in the middle?

No, I must cleanse the evil. ALL OF IT! And not just skanky bitches with no talent for music whatsoever. I must eradicate the Justin Biebers, the Kanye Wests, the Rascal Flatts, the Kid Rocks, the Nickelbacks and other garbage that mainstream music has plagued America for far too long.

Remember that time I did that thing for you, you know, that thing, so you owe me.

I don't recall owing you anything, Chachi. If anything, I believe it's the other way around.

I'm gonna patch on a few segments on the AIDS quilt here and say all American music sucks. Except Dengue Fever. They're okay.

I'm not going to say they're the greatest thing ever just because I enjoy their work (though it is decreasing in quality slowly) because that is bias and bias is wrong.

They're becoming more mainstream. And you being the hip, indie music loving sonuvahgun that you are, can't stand to think of listening to the same music as the general populace.

Nah, the music is getting too much of an edge to it and the lyrics aren't fun, anymore. It would be difficult for me to care less what other people think of the music I enjoy, though it's easier to find indie music with soul than it is on pop music radio stations, I believe. And this isn't going for the whole "music is only good if you don't make money from it" bullshit. When I listen to the radio in Isis' car or if I'm somewhere outside of my comfort zone, it doesn't sound like the performers are enjoying themselves. It just seems like lip service set to a manufactured, gut-wrenchingly generic and bland sample beat. But I'd be lying if I said there weren't a couple of surprises a couple years back.

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed when I found myself downloading " Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat. I was slightly less disappointed when I found myself in the same situation with " The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson. It was the simplicity of the music that drew me to them, I can rightly assure you. LATER: These aren't even the biggest examples of buyer's remorse I've gotten from music, which, considering, is fairly awful. This post has been edited by radixius: Feb 12 2011, 08:35
