You were complementing his joke. He brought mine to a halt. You were complaining what annoys you in the forums in the other "Last Thing You thought" thread. This is what annoys me: User A makes a joke that, albeit not necessarily hilarious, can be wing-manned into something good; User B doesn't give a shit and makes an unrelated comment, derailing a possible nice joke combo. It's like what ABP once told me (paraphrased): if you don't have anything funny or constructive to say, do not post. And I'll be fair here, Rob is not one of the perpetrators in this case (thus my surprise at his response) - but the ones that do it continually, annoy me. Bringing a joke to a halt is a huge waste of potential, and it's one of the main reasons this site isn't as funny anymore - people now post to increase their post count, rather than to add to a conversation. Anyways, I said my bit.
