Well... if they made a sequel of the best in the series, it would be crappy, too.

I wouldn't say it's the worst, nor is it the best, it is just another mediocre entry in a subpar series.

(HINT: II was the worst, followed by XIV, XI, VIII, X, XIII, VII, III, XII V, I, VI, IX, IV)

I don't acknowledge the MMO's as part of the numbered series. I've heard nothing good about XIV, but it never really existed to me in the first place.

I don't care if you acknowledge it, the fact of the matter is that they are part of the numbered series.

Your opinion ceases to matter since fact takes precedence in all cases.

ADDENDUM: It's really regrettable that FFXI has one of the best pieces of music in the series.

It's also regrettable that Uematsu hasn't done much of anything since leaving Square. Lost Odyssey's music had some good ones, but damn, his talent isn't being properly used anymore.

Uematsu is overrated. As is Motoi Sakuraba.

I'd personally like to see Yuki Kajiura get a few more video games under her belt. The Xenosaga Episode II & III soundtracks were pretty damn good and she's had her hands in some great anime sound tracks too (even if the shows themselves sucked).

I'd like Keiichi Suzuki to do more video game soundtracks. And Michiko Naruke's Wild ARMs soundtracks are great.

Truth. I remember every time I'd get to one of the battles with Janus on Wild ARMs 3 I'd get all amped up and ready to kick some ass.

I like the characters, specifically Vanille. The story sucks nuts. Oh, and Snow can just leave and I'd not miss him.
