The EH Translations team needs help! For long, we've been a disorganized bunch, putting out uncoordinated releases now and then with no real coherency. Well, that's about to change, but we need your help to do it!

As part of this organizational effort, we're going to need a mascot, a unifying brand, so to speak, for our releases. While we may be awesome at editing manga, translating awkward dialogue and procrastinating, we don't know the first thing about character design, much less drawing those designs. This is where you come in!

I've been wondering this for awhile, but how in the hell is a mascot going to turn you disorganized lot into a bunch of efficient, disciplined translators? So what, somehow having a mascot is going to magically fill you with a sense of pride and make you all collaborate and stop procrastinating?

It still sounds like they are planning on the mascot some how energizing the translation team. They make it sound like it's the first step in a reorganization campaign, but I'm skeptical they have a plan that goes much deeper than a mascot and a pep talk. They should have just said they just wanted a mascot, rather than giving us promises with no guarantees.

Meh, even so, the only reason I'd want the prize is to hand it out, anyway. I was also commissioned to create a uniform credits page, but I didn't do it because it'd be pointless.

I hope this anti-static wrist strap repair holds. The two wires are looped together for a strain relief, and soldered. The I attached a 1/2w 1 meg carbon composition resistor, and potted in in jb kwik. I also potted the wire connection to the alligator clip.

Nah, that'd be a stupid thing to do.

I'd rather just clarify my comment by saying that all browsers are terrible, different people just find different uses in their choices.

Hence, no one browser is technically better than the other, and it's all opinions. And when people let their opinions cloud their judgments as a whole, that's when a situation gets out of hand and the idiot that spouts that one OS or browser or film or television program is better than another is truly the one at fault.

Indeed. Opera has its speed and customisability, while Firefox has its extensions.

Internet Explorer has a better layout than the competition, but that's about all it has.

I still know people who would rather use IE than something else because of that, in any case...
