A: Just get a new keyboard. I know they make ones are sealed well enough to resist spills, or you could even try to track down a few of those keyboard covers you see at libraries. That, or just keep your beverage away from the keyboard.

Sealed keyboard have been around since the Atari 400 and the Timex/TI-50. Yeah their neir bullet-proof but I've tet to meet a person who liked them for long. You cant tell by feel if you hit the key enough, you can hurt your fingers by hitting too hard (people with nails would say nasty things), and they actually show dirt far worse than regular boards. Unless you need a special board I would suggest checking out garage sales and the like - my board was 75 cents and is perfect for me, while my friend has picked up two this season for under $3, nice having a spair. Just an idea but mine has done good by me so far.

That and maybe get one of those bottom heavy travel mugs that can't tip over. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think the mug may be the root of my problems, actually. Or rather, the fact that it was a tall, narrow beer glass occupying the space normally inhabited by a coffee mug...

Anyway, I've sorted everything out by the simple expedient of dismantling my other, apparently non-functional, keyboard and reassembling it with all the components in the correct places. Yes, it turns out it wasn't working because I put a rubber strip underneath something it should have been on top of. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Damn, I missed most of this season's Hell's Kitchen, it's down to the final four. But at least I'm all caught up (took me the past two days to watch all the ones I missed) and now I know what night it airs on TV.

Oh, and I think the new season of Mad Men airs tonight. Cool.

Did you mean to rhyme that? And Tense, you should try talkon powder or even better a bottle of Eurax lotion. I use it on my butt and gooch/balls after I shave, cause it gets real sensetive.
