QUOTE(Anto of the Sand @ Jun 19 2010, 05:11) *
That's why I change so much tbh. I don't know what would "suit" me. How my personality is percieved here and how I can best promote it's more positive aspects.

Ah, Anto...be my muse, for but a moment.

Likely neglected, you've known nary a view but your own, which you've come to deem incapable of extrapolating your worth, without others to help support your judgment or disclaim your self-deprecation. You may have even, at one point, envisioned yourself based solely on the perceptions of others, too.

You tend to tentatively rely too much upon whatever opinions you receive—whether positive or negative—converting feedback into pride or shame, however intangible, unreliable or invalid the supplying source's word may be, in certain cases.

Seeking acknowledgement, you try to be a little exhibitive, merely wishing to see what is reflected by the eye of your beholder. Enveloped in darkness, having lost self-awareness, you must expand to fill out whatever space there is, in order to know your limits and boundaries.

I, on the other hand, as though by radar, rather than touch, intuitively project my ideal self-image onto others. In this way, I cannot necessarily sense every wall, but I don't go running into any I cannot simply pass through, with a little push, the proper stance, or outwitting conviction.

Either way, we often verify our importance based on what others relay back to us, whether we're asking for or demanding compliance. When we question ourselves, we turn to others for wise advice, but it's up to us to find our own answers. The most prevailing is not always the most fulfilling.

I do not base who I am completely by what I've been taught to adhere to, nor strictly on what I recall discovering within. When radically inspiring change is desired, you have to be creative, and you're gonna have to be willing to imagine your identity anew—reinventing yourself, if you hope to rejuvenate your spirit.

You can willingly accept the drabness laid about for you, if you have nothing better in mind...or you can shun society (or at least their expectations), turning down their one-way ticket for you, if you don't wish to embrace others' subjectivity, biases and misrepresentations as your own.

Through solitary contentment, you can be your own carefree overlord. I've become happily dissociated, disregarding my prior inherent and inherited concerns of the world and others. Being spiritually autonomous, I go about each day at as leisurely or hurried a pace I please.

I am a wandering poet, who wants to rediscover wishes and dreams. My way of living has collapsed, many a time, due to protest. To be yourself, at times, you may have to be willing to passively fight the consequences, becoming a martyr for ambition, even, if there's no option but to accept defeat.

But there's no happier way to live, than to discover your own personal meaning, freedom and sovereignty, in all aspects of life. And no one ever said that you couldn't be happy BEFORE you get eternal happiness. So don't wait around for life to happen to you.

Like a blind bat, you are a man without ego, but it needn't hinder you forever. Find something that makes you happy. Do it. And don't worry so much about what others think, or your influence, 'cause everything else is just background noise. This...is merely one man's perception.

Anto, I've found a game that suits my tastes... MadWorld for the Wii. Trapping a man in a tire, stabbing him through the neck and then hauling his body over to a "rose bush" for a little intensive flogging, leaving him a stuck pile of corpsey goodness is a thrill I rarely tire of.

edit: Meant for D.D.D.

But who I am makes an impact on me and by extension, the people around me. Since that's all I have/know, it remains apparent that these things are at least to some extent, important. A man who dresses like a beggar will be treated as such, as will a man who dresses like a prince. For better or worse, image is alot. It's something of a first impression, each and every time. So I don't think it wrong of me to value, even if just a little, the values and results such a thing gives me. I'm a fan of the "minimum effort, maximum reward" tactic and I think this problem of mine, if I can even call it that, fits perfectly into that criteria.
I guess after the months I've been here, I still know very little about what is thought of me and therefore about all of you aswell. There seems an unwillingness to open up here, whether emotionally, personally, or just socially. It's a shame really, as despite the intended nature of this place, I find it a decent hive of minds. Minds I would very much like to know on a level I know those near me. But alas, I get the feeling that some see that as reprehensible.

@Deevra:

Never heard of it I'm afraid. Sounds interesting ehough. But hopefully, when it no longer gives you the same sick thrill, you'll remember Manhunt.

Well met. I intended to address possibility, if for no other reason than to create a catalyst to discuss ourselves.

Because it's the internet, and the internet is an unsafe place.

Anto, i don't think first impressions matter that much, provided you're given enough opportunity to compensate for your initial shortcomings. But then again, who states you have to compensate in the first place? Provided you're not being an insufferable bastard on purpose, forums should be open to a wide range of opinions and personas.

This is a good point. A more emotionally sincere mood to a forum would be an ideal thing, but in reality we're all practically strangers, in terms of how well we know each other. We may know each others traits when it comes to replies and comments, but we cannot accurately analyse each others body language, tone of voice, or circumstance through the veil of the internet. Right now, I could be addressing John the Baptist, a pubescent girl, or a man who gets off on screaming children.

Before I allow myself to succumb to boredom, I'm nearly always stricken by some bug that sweeps me away into psychology, philosophy, dreams and metaphors. So watch out whenever I start throwing social superlatives around. It's a sure sign I haven't reset my sanity gauge in a while.

Whoa, that was weird. I was watching that cat link and then started watching other clips and then gave you karma and when I refreshed the page, you were S5C and then a cat avatar appeared. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

"形くっきりペニス" is an excellent tag to search for on pixiv. Also, "正面向き前傾ペニス".

You can find those in Character Map, or you could copy and paste these: ♪ ♫
