Maybe not after the first 200 levels of button-mashing, but especially in the beginning (and for those not being favoured by pre-update Snowflake-love) the hopes for more and better stuff you can get motivate a lot. Also, whenever you clear something bigger, you get a sort of happiness out of it.

Like using the toilet after waking up in the middle of the night when you were too lazy/tired to release yourself when you got into bed.

I once saw a Starbucks inside a Starbucks.

There's a Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks inside it with a mini book section inside that across from a Starbucks in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.

If there's ever a Starbucks with a Walmart inside it with a Bed Bath & Beyond inside that, then we're all in trouble.
