Arcades here do not even have fighting games anymore. Its 40% rhythm games, 40% gatcha/ UFO catcher, 10% light guns and 10% driving games.

I've been to a few but no street fighter, no mortal kombat, and no tekken.

I'd play the PC versions except it looks like they have 10 million DLCs and other BS. Also loads of weird ass characters from random franchises.

Did it actually go full woke? The problem was when the director became popular and started hanging out when the diddy crowd he started saying that the first season was purely a critique of the corruption of capitalism.

He accidentally showed the failure of socialism though. if I was making a woke parody for season 2 I'd include a bunch of LGBTQCIA+ and get them to compete and end up betraying each other due to the oppression pyramid. The trans characters can join because evil captialism will not fund their transition.

I used to mainly play Tekken 4 / 5 Street Fighter vs X-men / Marvel vs Capcom. Less people in the arcade I went to used to play the soul calibur 3 machine though.

They had a ton of KoF machines, but I never really got into that game. Played Street Fighter Third Strike more than KoF.

this is also the reason why insurance companies are still allowed to refuse to write you insurance if you have your DNA sequenced and a doctor finds you have risk factors for things like ALS (things which are correlated with ALS but not necessarily even guaranteed). Things like long term care aren't covered even if stuff like "healthcare" is by rules about pre-existing conditions.
