I just witnessed a woman, the kind that probably thinks of herself as very attractive or "a milf", all dolled up in a dress etc. escorting a little kid (4-5yo) across the street. That's fine, she was holding her hand. Crossed the road not on a crosswalk, but that's not illegal where I live. BUT at no point during the crossing did she even look at the road, because she was too busy doing that selfie/facebook live angle with her phone and turning her head in that "trying to find a good angle" manner. The whole way across the road and afterwards. What the hell?

That sucks. In my country they had to put up signs on train stations warning women that the platforms slope towards the tracks because too many were leaving their strollers and doing selfies and social media and the babies were ending up on the tracks.
