I was not. It was practically from listening to c-span hearings from supreme court and a few other medias like abcnews and CNN. The problem with Soy is not that it is estrogenic, the problem is that the plant based phytoestrogens are a weak estrogenic alternate. It raises the bodies overall estrogen level whilst blocking the positive effects of estrogen.

Higher estrogen levels will eventually lower testosterone as the body tries to find the correct hormone ratio, however weakening estrogen's correct effect on the body will have health side effects as well.

So if you raised a male purely on Soy, they would mostly like have slightly lower intelligence, less emotional stability, a smaller dick and muscles and a lower sex drive.

The journals seem indicate that one serve per day is safe overall (100g tofu, 40g processed soy protein, 100ml soy milk).

Even ignoring the whole hormone thing, soy is just a god awful slop ingredient. If one wants to eat vegetables, why not something locally grown instead of processed beans from South America? Beans in general are not a great source of nutrients.

The only reason anyone eats soy is:
A. marketing
B. out of some weird spite to prove how they don't care what online chuds say
