I swear all these years I never put together that chim-chim-iny-chim-chim-iny meant chimney because he's a chimney sweep.
Ah fuck, it even spells it out in the lyrics! What does chim chim cher-ee mean? Does cher-ee mean cheery? I don't know but that song is eerie. Maybe instead of a cheery chimney it's an eerie chimney.

I loved that movie to death. Still have it on VHS, but it's seen a lot of plays so it's not in the best shape.

Dick Van Dyke's still alive. He's so old now that I keep thinking "I should probably check before I say this." He'll turn 100 in december of next year (if he makes it that long... If he's in good health and happy, I hope he does).

Last year I was wondering if he was still alive because all the ancient celebrities were dying off. Not only is he alive but he did The Masked Singer and there was a TV special honoring him called Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic.

I watched the latter and he was sitting on a couch as young horrible woke performers were horribly performing his songs and dancing. He was with his wife/caregiver who is a thousand years younger than him and everyone celebrated his b-day at the end. He seemed happy with everything.
