Am I weird? I never though the aliens in star trek represented human races. The crew of the enterprise in every series had people of different backgrounds, it literally makes no sense that the aliens would represent human races.

Looking at the list of characters, there are like 25 locations, and a list of dead. You can tell the current season is set in the 'the commonwealth' because it has the longest list of alive people.
I wonder what will happen to them at the end of the season.

The Canadian government published papers on it. If your medical condition costs more than assisted suicide and you report any degree of negative welfare status, then you qualify for assisted suicide.

several years ago we responded for a welfare check. as we were driving up we could smell the "death smell" from the end of the street about a city block away.
as we walked up to the front door we could see a body down in the living room floor covered in old food and trash bags with about 20 cats running loose in the house. the smell was so bad we put on our scba's and decided to force entry through a window because the trash and debris made the door impossible. as we smashed the window the body on the floor woke up and walked over to us. she was fine and just taking a nap.
the death smell was just the normal household odor. it took a court order by DHS to have her removed from the home. the house was demolished and you could still smell it weeks later in the ground.
