I can't say I fully understand what goes through peoples' minds when they decide to have the operation... but I've been told by someone that had it that she thinks having the operation (even with all of the associated pain) helped her to not feel suicidal.

So if they really think all of that pain, the dilations and resultant scheduling difficulties, and all the other stuff is worth it in the end, then I don't think I have any place in trying to stop them.

I just want people to be happy, generally speaking. And that goes for almost anyone as long as their own happiness doesn't require others to suffer. So if they think that doing all of this will make them happier, good for them.

Also, I think you don't hear cis women saying "i love my vagina" because it's not something new to them that they feel is crucial to their sense of validity or whatever. Or at least, not that they would ever think of in that light. Much easier to take it for granted when you've always had it. And I would assume if they had their dick and balls removed that they actively disliked them, and are revelling in not having them anymore. If they aren't too busy being in pain that is.

Also worth mentioning, a fair number of trans women don't feel too much dysphoria about their genitals and keep the cock. In countries where the operation isn't required from a legal standpoint, at least (Saudi Arabia does that, IIRC; IDK how many others. I don't even know where I remember that thing about Saudi Arabia from or when exactly that could have come up).
