Also, that site doesn't let you specify people you want to import from. Which I sometimes think is regrettable. But that's just why I don't import very frequently... I want people to be able to access (and ARCHIVE) things, but I'm not trying to be a dick about it unless you piss me off.

To be clear I do not back this person, just stumbled onto this post. Probably won't, if they have an attitude like that. People who leak once a year for instance (like me) let you build up months and months' worth of posts to hold behind your annoying paywall.

[en.wikipedia.org] Samizdat isn't bad. Not everyone is in a position to support everyone they want to, but it lets them engage with artists/writers/whatever anyway and be influenced by them. Especially for people who don't post low-res versions of images publicly (who have 'exclusives',) I see it as almost essential.

It's been said before, but people who access leaked content aren't the ones who are going to be giving you money anyway (except for sometimes, when I've actually done that because I want to support what they're doing).

At least he offers a $2 tier, though this is seems to be just a donation thing without benefits? lolz
What I like in japanese artists, that they even offer such cheap tiers like 100 JPY/month. They also offer tiers with higher prices, but THESE doesn't offer any benefits and are just there for people who can afford it to pay more. So 500 JPY/month offers the same as the 100 JPY/month one.
$1 to maybe $3 is great, so one can support many different artists. It's easier to have dozens of $1 - $3 subscriptions than maybe four $6 ones, which you might have to chancel to support another artist.

But I hate it that so many artists use Twitter to publish stuff. And paywalled stuff on Patreon.
It's a pain in the ass to find art there. You have to scroll so much to find content you might like. And then (especially Twitter) they also publish some ultra funny memes, super delicious food pictures and other irrelevant text messages and also hundreds retweets. Aaaaaah
Fanbox is also kind of bad since it works similiar.

Deviantart or Pixiv are great, though Pixiv is mostly for censored stuff.

This is why e-hentai is great. There you have Artist CG category and image set, up to 40 thumbnail rows, tags, ... nice! Also better accessible to non-japanese users, obviously. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But there are far more effective ways to convince people not to do something than tell them they're pieces of shit.

Like, if they'd said "Before sharing the stuff here, please consider this:..." I'd be more likely to take them seriously.

I have gotten the brilliant idea of writing a story for children using my unique creativity.
But I have trouble thinking of ideas, but I know how to package it to be very creative.
I prefer first person narratives to allow my inner child to speak.
So any ideas?

First pitch, rough draft:

"Once there lived a young lad named Weegee bright and earnest as the morning sun, but his mother was a dumb old gossipy hen who thought she was learned because she could repeat phrases from ancient poets, kings, and philosophers without any original input. So as in order to not humiliate her with his innate talent he inherited from the now deceased Weegee Sr. who has died from the moaning and grief of living with the gossipy old hen, Weegee turned down his only chance to work for a fortune 500 company for 6 figures so he could sell his gossipy hen mother's long pamphlets of unoriginal essays at road intersections. He never made a single dime. But one day a he was cold, until a bolt of lightning came down and struck the pile of pamphlets into a fire lasting 30 minutes, and oh joy did Weegee dance like a young child he was at heart. Such was his reward from Heaven for being a loyal filial son."

There's this 1980s show called Starcade I came across this morning on TV. It's young nerdy white boys competing at old classic video games in a gameshow setting.

Never heard of it before but it's so cool seeing how the world was before it became complete garbage. But I suppose video games led to computers and modern technology that ushered in all the garbage.

Gays and Lesbians are boring and normal now. In the US non-binary, bisexuals and transtrendies are 60%+ of the movement.
