It also means that men might have more control if they don't want a kid - although really, I don't think you should be sleeping with people if you don't trust them to tell the truth about being on the pill. It'd still an extra failsafe/means of prevention if it can/could be done "safely."

No medication is without side effects, though. Apparently using minocycline (a very common antibiotic) over a long period of time - like how it is often used for acne treatment - can turn your teeth yellow/brown. I'm not trying to say all medicines' side effects are all equally severe, though (that'd be retarded).
