I hope Amazon has developed The Lord of the Rings story properly.
I'm tired of the racism. Elves and Orcs should get along. The orcs are poor, and clearly it is economics that makes them have less education and handiwork products than the elves. The story should conclude with everlasting peace between the elves and orcs with the orcs invited to live amongst the elves. No more of those racist "no orcs allowed" settlements. No more borders. No more walls.
That would be fresh. But I imagine the novel fans are going to ridicule such an idea. Something like "That's like saying angels and demons should get along!" or "Orcs are metaphor for pure evil! There is no grey area!"

That is why its a reconstruction based on characters that they do have the rights to from the first trilogy and the hobbit and the writers modern fan fiction.
They are also not supposed to kill off any of the characters from the previous movies, which means if they want game of thrones action they will need to kill off the diverse characters...

Yeah, color-swapped movies would be fun as a concept (not sure the movie themselves would be interesting). And after a few of them switching whites to black and black to whites, and a good dose of drugs, let's release "Smurfs in Space!", by swapping the colors of aliens and humans in a remake of Avatar.

I don't know if Australia's government provides anti-discrimination grants based upon need, but the USA government does. So it's financially beneficial to an area's Jewish organizations to have a substantial amount of physically visible anti-Jewish grafitti to be turned in as evidence in order to keep on receiving free money to support anti-discrimination activities.

No, previous governments made eternal commitments to fund grants annually and if any government revoked it then it would be the basis of a political campaign against that government as sexist or racist. Often at times our government will fund 'any random shit they can find' in order to meet the obligation. I never watched any of the sequel stuff (anything disney). And I knew nothing about it. So I'm recoiling in horror and revulsion right now.
But not surprise.
On another note, this strikes a fine line between being an elaborate youtube poop and being an amazingly accurate satire of all the little tweaks each release makes (sfx changes, for instance). The lightsaber throw and shattering glass for instance. I like it, but I probably can't watch it again.
