The other day I wanted to form a basketball team in my neighborhood, and to get in it requires a minimum height. Indonesians are too short on average so they shouldn't be part of the team.

But a guy told me there is a tall individual that is Indonesian in my apartment complex that does pass the minimum requirement, he asked me if this means he should be allowed to try for the team. But I said no and the reason is that Indonesians shouldn't be allowed since they are too short so they wouldn't be good players.

Waste not, want not. Other gold stars also use image hosting sites instead of uploading everything here. I don't see any reason to consider imgbox more secure than pomf.cat at this point in time. The big corporate sites just have more money to use lobbying to be unblocked; big corporate sites are the ones I avoid personally uploading to. If anything, it's less secure in terms of their planning to collect & monetize user data.

The only reason I only use pomf.cat as a fallback when catbox is down is that pomf.cat doesn't have a non-javascript uploader. Despite their disclaimer, javascript gives a massively increased attack surface for browser fingerprinting & running exploits, so I avoid it whenever possible.

I don't necessarily like an image enough to want it sitting in my account, even if I don't run out of space.
