One Nation was set up by a foreign news network, that didn't like them, to have a sting operation where they were trying to get funding from American right wing groups like the NRA. NRA is not very popular here but not illegal but all the lefty groups went after them. I doubt anyone left wing would vote for One Nation in the first place as its fairly right wing. If anything, they probably gained votes but it took the spotlight off of left wing parties accepting money from foreign governments and NGOs.

Well yeah, a politician said it was a young ones reference but most millennials didn't get the reference and keep laughing at him eating the onion rather than just being lame, they laugh at him 'haha we don't get the reference, you are stupid.". Ironically? 80s references are popular now.
edit: I am not sure which is weirder in the Chris Chan saga
1. Normie media failing to understand what he/she/it is. "Mrs Chan is Sonicho based on Sonic and the Pokemons"
2. Chris Chan in court demanding her/his transformers or the proceedings are not valid (I agree on this point).
3. The 'fan' haters / trolls that have been egging Chris Chan on for years. They have access to monitor his/her bank account... they record him/her outside and even inside the motel and also take advantage of how gullible he/her is. Chris chan got it in their head from somewhere that incest would cure their autism and then full disclosed to the 'fan' media that have his/her secret phone number after the first was doxed. I wouldn't be surprised if he went trans because someone said he wasn't autistic he had gender dysphoria. They claim it was because he got the idea that he could "sleep with lesbians which would be cool" even that sounds like a 14 year old.
If you listen to the way Chris-Chan story is portrayed it sounds like he is a sociopath with the incest and stealing money from his mother (unconfirmed to have dementia but likely). However Chris Chan doesn't seem to understand even basic finance, the trolls spying on his and his mother's bank accounts noted that he spent the last of her money on transformers and other toys instead of food or rent. He also takes the advice of the trolls that he trusts for their bemusement like if he said he was internet famous that would be a defense in court.
I am starting to think he is someone with autism and mental development issues than just a straight out socio path. There are clearly people in the community that watch him that want him to do more spergy behaviors and have been directly encouraging that. Its like getting someone with down syndrome to commit a crime then recording it for the luls.
