They aren't on this site, but I know several artists who could give you pointers as well as judge your art for you. These are good artists, too.

Yes, a ban can be temporary. However, you were not banned, you were suspended. I think it might have even been BunBun who said you were suspended. Also, having lots of experience being banned (10+ times from the same site) I haven't known a ban to last less than a month, though that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Seriously though, you don't even know what a true ban is like. When your IP address is blocked and you can't get even view the site without a fucking proxy server, that is when the site owner really hates your guts.
