"I moved to the big city so I could have stuff to go out and do, but now I'm broke because I moved to the big city where housing costs are astronomical, apartment rent costs triple what a mortgage does, and now I have no money to go out and do stuff, so I just do what I was going to do back in my hometown and sit inside, sleep, go to work, and be depressed."
Oh, I read the thread's title.
You guys are depressing. You don't need money, you don't need to go out and do things, just find something you like and stick to it. Maybe get a few friends even. Friendships shouldn't be solely bonded over shared activities anyway, rather the time you spent together. When I do something with my friend, I don't do it because I like what we are doing but because I like being with them. Be it texting, calling, playing a game, watching a movie/tv or whatnot. Even sitting in complete silence sipping drinks. I enjoy the time I spend with my friends.
Oh god. There is a bug inside my computer.
IT DIED, IT FUCKING DIED.

Man, I have had this moth immortalized in my TV for the past 6 or so years.

So annoying. Look at the whore's arms. It's impossible to watch TV, I keep looking at that stupid fucking moth. I always try to keep my computer monitor clean, and now I am going to have this little bastard stand out.
Well, I went off track a little. Nothing is a waste of time if you enjoyed doing it. No matter how useless/pointless the activity is. I'd like to say that even something like going to prison wouldn't be a waste of time. The value of any experience comes from people who haven't experienced the same. It's what makes you unique.
That's why I like investing time in friends. All of my friends are interesting. All of them have something about them that makes them different. Even those that claim to be bland, they just have a story that they convinced themselves everyone shares. Even if our friendship doesn't pan out in the end, it's still something to look back on and cherish.
If your free time amounts to 'sitting inside', why don't you try talking to someone? If you are really that upset that you are letting it boil over into the forum, I am sure there are people here that would be more than willing to talk to you.
Everyone seems really upset recently. Notably with Maximum Joe going missing. It's bothering.
