I do actually think that neutral names are okay, but I don't care much for naming a girl "Bruce" either.

I actually like that one better. It's more aesthetically pleasing with the neotenous proportions. As far as my avatar, it's actually made in MSPaint. My sig with the caricature of my wife was done with Photoshop CS6 and I cheated using a Wacom pen tablet.

I used my thinkpad X201 tablet (with wacom digitizer) for the digital tracing of that pencil image, too. And I sometimes use it for pixel art with Grafx2 as well.

I figured the graph paper would be 1:1 square to pixel. While it can be used to freehand like that and is a godsend when it comes to perspective, foreshortening, composition, and proportion, if you're truly doing "pixel art" and not "I only have MSPaint" art (I know it's an Amiga, I'm making a point) it would help to start thinking of the graph paper more like a pixel grid.

Ah, but pixels on a CRT are not necessarily perfectly square, so it'd look wrong on its intended display medium. The NTSC Amiga in particular doesn't have very square pixels when drawing in "overscan mode," although I correct it on my monitors as much as I can.

The one child policy was a good idea under theoretical conditions where people don't prefer male babies and everyone is beholden to the rule, much like communism was a good idea under the theoretical conditions that a centralized bureaucracy can be trusted and that said bureaucracy will work in the interests of its people.

Make it empty or a couple lines of text.
Make image(s), if any, smallish vertically and non-animated. If you must animate, make it at most 48x48px.

Drawing takes time, and I don't have a bunch of it. If you want someone to draw for you then there are better people than me you can probably pay a commission for. Since there's nothing at stake here and I really don't think that I'm worth commissioning (not that I even take commissions) I'll pass. I am hardly an artist.

I've heard girls with names like Reagan, Kennedy, Thatcher, Frederickson, Mason....

English needs to have a consistent naming system like Japanese or Icelandic.

If I had a choice, the surname would be done away with and all English speakers would be given clan names before the first name as was in Old English, the first name would be formal and long, with a mandatory nickname like in southeast Asia equivalent to using a first name.

Example: Hegdewick Abraham Ratsballs
