Just pondering how much I despise Daylight Savings Time.

To ponder is to think before reaching a conclusion. So I believe the correct sentence should be "Just pondering as to why I despise Daylight Savings Time."

I took it to mean that the despising was decided, but the quantity of despising was still being pondered.

"I despise DST so much... wait, just how much do I despise it exactly?"

Right? Starving kids in Ghana don't have to lose an hour's sleep and reset the clock in their car like we do.

The most annoying thing about DST is having to change the time on my watch. See, its a nice analog model, so I have to cycle the the minute hand forward/backward a whole rotation -- I can't just change the hour digit. I could just use my cellphone, which changes automatically, but that's just so plebian. Not to mention I'd have to pull it out of my pocket and turn it on/off every time when I could just lift my arm.

tl;dr:
I'm pimping with a Rolex, its such a pain to change the time on it twice a year.
