You may be right, but newcomers aren't going to care as much as you "veterans" until we spend enough time. I just pass by here everynow and then for fun (Like most people, I imagine). I don't know much about the place. I read that newcomers vs veterans thread you posted, but most of it was "we vets are tired, fuck off" which isn't going to get anywhere anyway.

1 - I'm not clear who you're referring to here. If it's Max Joe, well, I haven't interacted with him in a while, but see my above comment.

2 - Given how rob acts toward you, I won't say you drew an unreasonable conclusion about him, just an inaccurate one. As you put it, he does like shit, or at least pursues it. Regarding the "they" business, I did make something of an assumption, given I'm the guy who wrote the "you people suck; stop whining" thread (or "we vets are tired; fuck off" as you put it). Part of me really would rather be an advocate for civility and understanding on the forum, but I'm a bit too realistic for that.

3 - True. There are times when hurtful comments from long-time members are intended as a wake-up call for newbies who are causing trouble and breaking rules, but I'll concede most of those aren't from rob.

You seem like a decent flamer. I wish your insults made more sense. You could give him a good run for his money.
