When I first started visiting these forums over a year ago, I saw the the warning for this particular section of the forums, and I thought to myself "Ohhh shit... this is gonna be like something out of 4Chan crazy!" But then once I got in here..... well, I was quite underwhelmed.

Did the FSZ forum EVER even live up to the warning it has on it?

I'm pretty sure it was just supposed to be a board where members could tell annoying people to fuck off and die, and thus discourage anybody who elicits that kind of response from posting in it. However, somewhere along the line, that just stopped working. Now, the more cruel you are to somebody you can't stand on the forum, the more likely they actually are to stick around just to spite you.

Plus, anybody who was remotely offensive (in the classical sense of the word) has stopped posting by now.

I believe you said something that could've been very hurtful to somebody who suffered in a recent national tragedy. Deleting that comment does somewhat go against the spirit of this board, but in TenBro's defense, he has a demonstrated policy of being a placating wimp when it comes to controversy. Can't exactly blame the guy. Free expression gets people in trouble.
