It was when I did study abroad in Japan years ago. This was in Kyoto while we were heading to Fushimi Inari. I walked the entire length of the Torii path up and down the mountain it was on and my legs felt like jelly the day after. Fuck mountains.

That guy and one of our professors were quite tall, so they were always having to watch for bumping their heads. I'm not that tall at 5'10", but even for me there were some places where I barely made the clearance of the door frames.
