QUOTE(BlorgAlmighty @ Apr 28 2012, 04:29) That's cause Seikon no Whatever apparently has only been translated up to the 8th volume, according to MangaUpdates.
Yeah, but only half of volume 8 was at that site I go to. So I ended on a chapter that was right smack in the middle. QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Apr 28 2012, 04:38) Watch the anime. Seikon no Qwaser has both seasons fansubbed for those people who can't read moonspeak.
Oh I know and I have both the seasons only Radixius and I were watching them together. But he hasn't really felt like watching the 2nd season yet and I've been wanting to get into it for a while now.

Last thursday, my hiustory teacher was holding me a speech because I never manage to come punctually. She said that it's bad for my education and the started something along the lines: "Fifteen minutes here, ten minutes there, that adds up, you know?"
Radirizzle may guess what I thought of at that moment.

I've been reading all of these incredibad threads started by complete asstards. Threads which are usually just a bastardized reincarnation of someone else's abortion of an idea scaling back a few months.
The last thing I thought of besides murdering several posters I don't like was acquiring a cannon that can fire instant death through the internet.
Benji, can you make me a sandvich?

Melatonin may or may not work for you, depending on your brain chemistry. Studies have shown that it is more effective when coupled with light therapy. Certain wavelengths of the visible spectrum can coerce the brain into waking or sleeping states, depending on your desire. IIRC, orange was the one for sleep and the blue/white of computer screens was for waking.

wut? Melatonin is a basic hormone, it HAS TO work, since your body itself needs shit broken down to it. Maybe, after a while, it will get used to the constantly increased dosage, but other than that... I don't even understand what all this si supposed to lead to, you get your melatonin by drinking up your milk and maybe have some bacon.

Yes, melatonin is naturally produced in the brain. But not everyone produces the right amount or even at the right times. Melatonin supplements also don't work for everyone.

Makes sense, but I still think that that post before was supposed to be a joke. I don't want to deny that light and certain wavelenghts can have a significant influence, but a lack thereof should usually be the most helpful thing. Painting the room black might be counterproductive, but when it's dark,. colours don't matter much. I mean, I have been diagnosed as having a completely fucked up, deferred circadian rhythm, and I still need it all nice and dar when wanting to fall asleep easily. Also(Irrelevant): Orange and blue together are the most unsettling colour combination that exists. They once painted the canteen of a university half orange half blue and the visitors have been observed as eating much more hastily, generally being done with whatever they were doing a few minutes earlier than before. Light levels do trigger the release of melatonin as part of the circadian rhythm. But there are also certain colors of light that can have that effect, particularly if you are exposed to them before sleep. Light therapy works by being exposed to light before, not during. You're not supposed to sleep in a room lit orange, you're supposed to relax with an orange light for a few minutes a little before going to sleep. And sitting in front of a computer or TV screen right before going to bed actually disrupts the cycle and puts you in waking mode.

Das true right there. Also, screen light is pretty bright, so there's that, too. I like how we don't talk about penii once in a while (Summoning the inevitable I am) This post has been edited by Benjiro: Apr 29 2012, 07:09
