Perhaps I'm too hard to annoy to be suitable to moderate forums. I just can't see what gets people angry about someone's personality or posts...
I can't speak for anybody else, but I think 'ultaniota' is generally annoying for the following reasons:
1.
His username is about as generic as you could get. This isn't a major fault, but when the name you choose for other people to identify you is one that says almost nothing about you, it provides an easy outlet for people to belittle or dehumanize you.
2.
His thread titles are an eyesore. They're long, they're rambling, and they've all been done ad nauseum.
3.
His post content is also an eyesore. As has been said before, in the threads he has created that I've bothered to look at, he's already said everything he wanted to in the overly long title and description, so instead he inserts pictures without any real idea of how distended and ugly-looking the post content is going to appear.
There are other reasons, but these three are enough for most people. However, none of these things bother me to the point where I'd give him more than a second thought. The kicker to me is
4.
He doesn't understand these problems after the community has stated them to him, or if he does, even worse, he refuses to acknowledge and change. Everyone makes mistakes, especially when posting on a forum for the first time. The issue is that he's effectively imposing by being a nuisance, and he instead seems to expect everyone to deal with it.
If you're going to introduce yourself to a new community and attempt to interact with people, you need to meet people halfway, or get out. I'm not about to try and join a local volunteer group wearing only my pants on my head and a bra as a makeshift thong while constantly quoting 'Scary Movie' and then tell everyone they should just 'get used to it'. Sure, I'm not actually harming anyone, but I'd sure as hell be an annoying nuisance to everyone I came across in public. .-.
