Has anyone ever felt bad for an inanimate object? Like you see a couch, sitting on the curbside by it's lonesome and you think "at one point a family happily sat in you and now here you are, forced to wait on the side of the road for a garbage man to pick you up all the while collecting leaves and rain". I dunno, maybe it's because once you lose your purpose, you're completely lost so seeing that object, now itself without a purpose, just brings about sympathy.
Not in that context, though.
I always feel sorry about throwing things away that I still MIGHT need one day but never used them before.
I'm a bit of a hoarder. I also exaggerate it with food... azhve several times felt tempted to eat stuff that was off.
My mother used to compare me to her father-in-law who was a soldier yada yada, he bunnyed around about every crumble of bread that might still be edible.
