QUOTE(radixius @ Feb 25 2012, 23:25) Well, at least one person enjoys it.
How many people enjoy the nothing that you produce :3
I write and have quite a few people who enjoy it thank you very much. A few friends on Facebook enjoy different rantings and I have quite a large following for reviews I write on another site.

Is that really it or were you expecting me to say "gee golly, you're right, I don't create anything"?

I was expecting at least a light-hearted barb or comedic jab so we could go back and forth with some jokes, if you want me to be honest.
ADDENDUM: That's really all I ever want out of anyone I reply to. Throwing someone a softball and having them catch it and say something curt and boring is just dreadful.

I feel like I was damned if I did, damned if I didn't. Respond comedically [sic], get called on creating nothing. Say I create something, get told I should have been comedic. You send mixed signals.

From my experience, everything that you find on those TV programmes (Don't wanna say TV in general because we have one or two honestly cool documentary channels) is awful, including it's viewers, who should feel bad for doing so. Eddy: And the commercial breaks. The commercial breaks are all so fucking loud! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Why, just why did my sister HAVE TO inherit all those Al-Bundy-traits from her worthless scumbag of a father.. WHY!?!? *melodramatic* This post has been edited by Benjiro: Feb 26 2012, 07:09

Time Warner might stop broadcasting ABC here. Ordinarily I wouldn't care, but I know that if we lose Wheel of Fortune, there will be anarchy in my house.

Women are like cows. Because they both have vaginas.
Men are like ravens and crows. Because they hate using condoms.

I've come to realize that most horror games only manage to scare people...
Let me try that again. First off, I personally don't play survival horror games because I have a hard time suspending my disbelief; by that, I mean most of the 'horror' part of a survival horror game is in fact the 'surviving' part, and I'm willing to throw myself to my death repeatedly to experiment and see what happens. Survival horror shooters like RE, Dead Space, and any Zombie shooter like L4D or Dead Island don't especially appeal to me for that reason (I'm much more partial to horror games where you are a helpless victim, like the Clock Tower games, Haunting Ground, or Demonophobia).
So, what I was going to say before, is that I think the most horrifying part of most survival horror games are the clunky, restricting tank controls. It speaks volumes about a control scheme when the most redeeming quality of it is that sometimes the developers throw you a bone and give you some special maneuver that gives you some mobility, like a sidestep, a quick backhop, or the ability to do a 180 degree turn and run away.
tl;dr - Tank controls are ass unless you're in a tank, and developers need to realize this.

I've come to the conclusion that the 60's Spiderman meme is currently the best meme of all. It's a close call but some are just funny as all hell.

I'm thinking of doing a 'Daily Exercise Routine' thread either here, in Gen Chat, or (horrors!) in Spamhaus. Thoughts? Though it's not a terribly exciting idea for a thread, it will probably be more worthwhile than most just by virtue of being an account of me doing something. Something healthy, at that.
