I'd have put caps on malpractice lawsuits. And by caps, I mean if it is not criminal negligence, then you can't sue. As it stands now, whenever someone dies, there is a lawsuit. There are always risks in medicine. People dying is not always a result of malpractice. Malpractice insurance and the constant lawsuits drive up costs for everyone. Get rid of those, and you lower costs, and I suspect, increase the quality of medical care.

NEW YORK (AP) - Ricky Martin is no longer denying the rumors: He's confirming that he is gay.

In a statement on his Web site, Martin says: "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer's sexuality has been speculated about for years, but he's never directly addressed it and was usually seen with beautiful women.
