Well, it was also a matter of money and prudent decision making. I really didn't want to spend 20 dollars on cover charge just to get shitfaced on cheap beer and then possibly not remember the night but still be short of 100 dollars or so. Or wake up in Mexico. That's happened to me before.

Also, I've only seen like 8 episodes of the second pony season, so I can't even say I would prefer ponies over much else. I think I stopped at the episode after the Halloween one, but went ahead and saw the Fluttershy episode with the assertive classes.

Have you ever fucked your master boot record up so bad, ALL of your recovery tools go "LOL sucks to be you"? I have. This is my third time. I just wanted to install a driver. Had to pull an all-nighter and take the day off to get my PC up and running again (since that's where I do almost all of my work) and its still only running bare. Recovering my data will take another 17 hours, according to my software.

Sometimes, I actually can be happy for a moment about not having a fucking clue about programming... for a very brief moment at least...

On a less derpy note, three times as well, if I remember correctly. When this happens, I just buy another cheap-ass pre-built computer because attempting to fix the shit myself would cause permanent physical damage and make things worse. Maybe even make the whole flat blow up and flag me as a terrorist.

And then proceed to slowly retrieve whatever is left using an external drive and a boot CD. If I can.

At least I work at home and I can make my own time schedules, so time isn't really an issue. Besides, you don't have to sit down and watch until it's over, just make sure things are going well once in a while.
