The update disappointed you? There's finally a way to upgrade stuff without grinding through item worlds, and stupid spirit attacks got replaced with something useful. I was actually motivated to get back into it.

My spirit attacks sometimes guaranteed me a one hit kill one the golden monsters... Legendaries I think? I don't know its been a while. But yeah when fighting multiples of them it came in handy to be able to wipe one out. About 30k damage OR some sustained extra magic damage that runs out in 10 turns? I think I know which one I prefer. As for equipment, I don't care for upgrading shit, I'm not there yet.

It seems that the updates are always more tailored to make it slightly harder for the super high leveled people and in the process the lower leveled people like me get fucked in the process.

EDIT: Oh yeah, mal, I've been meaning to start a translation bounty for some loli or NTR stuff I have favorited... I should probably read this guide on how to get started with bounties so I can get something translated for the rest of us. Quick question, are the translated bounties posted under OUR (the person posting the bounty) profiles or do they go to the people who did the translation? I would prefer it if I could get the upload for the traffic.

Well, I kind of like the new skill attacks better. They're not as powerful, but they have special effects, and you can use them more often.

To be honest I haven't played it since the update, other than the occasional hourly battles when I refresh the gallery page, but I don't really see myself using these weapon skills as I'm a mage. I got a rapier and shield and I'm not particularly fond of the description for the special 1 handed attack.

But yeah, I see your point. Tenboro seems like he's been trying to undo the old mages-are-the-only-option thing, but now they're just getting nerfed. Of course, I've only ever played dual-wield/battlecaster stuff, so I can't complain.

Shield bash? Sounds like Iris Strike, but with a stun effect instead of blind.

I guess looking at it from my point of view (a mage, as I have been in like EVERY game I've ever played in my life) it does seem like in every update mages get nerfed, but I also realize that warriors here have been fucked for the longest time. My big gripe with all of this is WHY. WHY IN THE FUCK DO YOU (tenbrony) CARE SO MUCH?! It's not like this is actually multiplayer or PVP; its all single player fun and if you're trying to balance classes, that really doesn't amount to shit if you cant play the classes against each other.

I'm starting to get a feeling this belongs in an HV thread.

That depends. If you specify in your terms that you will upload the gallery, then when you do upload it you'll be listed as the gallery owner. You can also ask that the editor include a credits page (which I recommend for the sake of keeping track of information). You're also better off splitting TL and ED into separate bounties; it'll be easier to find potential bounty takers.

The new Skills are just neutered Spirit Attacks. The only useful one is the 2H one and maybe the Niten one since they hit everything for massive damage. I really wish Tenboro had waited until he had more than one, even two Skills would have been better.

I'd play that. Although I would have to find a new income source for bounties. Unless you earned credits to buy gifts and go on dates from a job that doesn't involve wholesale slaughter of letters on the screen for hours on end.

uhm, either im too low leveled or i have missed something but in HV im a mage and instead of being weaker im kinda hitting harder, havent use the overcharge nor the spiritual attacks since i was lvl 40, the only thing i miss is the instant refill after clearing the arena, the daily 5k in creds i did in an hour has me spending all the small mp pots that i have. Hmm. I should start putting credits and hath into bounties. Any ahegao or NTR or loli stuff you recommend I donate to? I got about a thousand hath to blow. I could use the hath for perks but I kinda dropped HV a while ago and this last update just made me even more disappointed with it, so I might as well use this hath productively.

A dominant theory is that animals developed sleep because if they were asleep in a den, they were less likely to be attacked by predators. Since a majority of predators are active at night, and prey animals are generally vulnerable when it's too dark to see their surroundings, sleeping through the night somehow developed as a defense mechanism.

Okay, maybe that's a shit theory. I don't know what is gained by sleeping. All I know is that going without sleep for too long seems to cripple the brain's higher functions.

My personal theory is that it's a defragmentation and stabilization mechanism for the brain. It goes crazy and dies after a week of not sleeping.

I kind of thought the same, but it doesn't explain how I can feel so awful after having too much sleep, yet other days I can sleep about 4 hours and feel great most of the day.

Though I do remember that it was a mental necessity a lot more than a physical necessity. It also had something to do with neurons getting tired after excessive amount of time of activity (being awake). As the neurons keep sending messages throughout the day they start sending messages slower and slower. That's why when you're sleep deprived or just very very tired your mind isn't working at peak capacity. There was also something about a chemical that builds up in the brain as the day goes (causing sleepiness) and when you fall asleep it breaks down the chemical. You can actually stay awake long enough to cause your own death. Extreme sleep deprivation, which is really only attainable by torture, can cause death. People have been tortured to death by being kept awake for over a week. I think the magical number was 10 days.

Oh yeah, random side tip. If you ever have to do something mentally strenuous don't do it early in the morning. Wait 'till at least 10 am when your brain has woken up. School should not start so fucking early as growing brains are not only not all there in the morning but waking up that early guarantees that the kid didn't go to sleep early enough to get the amount of necessary rest. As opposed to what most people think, you actually need less sleep as you grow older. Just go and ask old people how much sleep they get and you'll find out. Or if you're in your 30s think about your sleep before and after your 30s.
