You know you've made it big when you've been turned into a meme.

I don't know why I bother making jokes around here. Or post here, for that matter.

Long ago I would've replied to this with several emo jokes, like this, [ lulzimg.com] this, or [ lulzimg.com] thisBut not today, no sirree bob, no. Carry on, fine sir. p.s.: Or [ encyclopediadramatica.ch] this, or [ encyclopediadramatica.ch] this, or [ encyclopediadramatica.ch] this or [ lulzimg.com] this. This post has been edited by noahbody: Jun 3 2011, 02:12

The last one had me puzzled.
I'm not emo, though. I'm pretty sure some people here understand me just fine.

Everyone here with a twitter and an interesting thought should start using a #LTYT hash tag thing.

Basically, if you use [ twitter.com] twitter, you write a tweet, and you put #LTYT at the end. Edit: Or the beginning. Or anywhere in it, really. This post has been edited by FourThirteen: Jun 3 2011, 03:09

I know, I usually go days without touching that thing. But a lot of people like it, and I occasionally like trying to amuse those folks.
Of course, I guess for those kinds of people, a little laser pointer or a toy that makes jingly noises would do just as well.

I don't usually do the 'online presence' thing, mainly because I don't have the motivation to keep it up. I tried once or twice back in the livejournal days, then realized I was doing it to follow the crowd.
I kinda hate following the crowd.
So I don't facebook, deviantart, myspace, or blog, or twitter/eet, as appropriate as that may be.
That and I don't have interesting thoughts, ever, when sitting before a computer screen. I always have interesting, 'twitterish' thoughts when driving or doing something outside, then entirely forget it when sit down at home. Frustrating, really.

Same here. Except the deviantArt thing. But I stopped using it soon after I made the account because I realized I had nothing to put up.
I did have a blog. Still do, I suppose, though none of them have been updated for a while. I was part of an anime blog group, though Oi, Hayaku! ended way too soon, which was tragi-dragic.

Yeah, I get that. The whole tweet-from-your-phone thing is what attracts a lot of people. I don't recommend doing it while driving, but otherwise it can be nice to have just in case. Edit: Facebook- Some people I knew in college actually made a profile for me, and I had to take over so they wouldn't load it down with absurd inaccuracies. I got sucked into a couple games, but am not using it much anymore. It's mainly a tool to keep in touch with friends, and I kind of hate talking to half the people I know. deviantArt- My page exists purely so I have a place to share/get feedback on my comic crap before I make the website for it. Myspace- Got one out of peer pressure. Practically never used it before. Definitely never use it now. Blog- I wanted a place to write about myself, so I have one. Two, actually, if you count the ill-conceived dream blog. I hardly update either anymore. Once a month, maybe. Twitter- More peer pressure. To me, it's mostly an engine to make notes to myself or tell one-off jokes, and apparently it's that way for most of the people I follow. This post has been edited by FourThirteen: Jun 3 2011, 03:30

Tweeting via phone seems like one of the dumbest things ever.
Then again, I tend to believe that messaging through a phone itself is fucking stupid in most cases. I don't get how my sister can get through 1,000 text messages in a month when I doubt I'll ever send that much in my lifetime.
Guess I'm just old-fashioned.

I had a blog once. A long time ago, before everybody, their dog, and their unborn children had mytweetfaces.
"blog" is just one letter shy of being "blorg".

Yes, but if everyone had a blorg, where would we be? We wouldn't appreciate the blorg we have now, because he'd be oversaturated. And nobody wants that.
