It sounds silly, but I like the little smiley face by the stamina bar.

Jesus Christ, A Game of Thrones is so hard to read.

My "A Game of Thrones" and "A Feast for Crows" are in horrible condition. I read those far too much.
"A Clash of Kings" is mercifully fine, but only because I left my first copy in Iceland and had to buy another.
"A Storm of Swords" is the only one of the original four that manages to get on buy, because it's a thick fucker.

Actually upon checking, my Storm of Swords isn't in as good condition as I thought.

Damn you, George R.R. Martin. I may have to re-buy your books.

I got about 100 pages plowed down today, I should have done more, but my brain needed to rest. I am interested in how the whole Daenerys thing spins out.

What irks me most is that I can't get a Dance with Dragons.

My sister's coming from Canada in May, but the book comes out in July.

I could preorder / order via Amazon, but shipping might be a bitch.

And God knows Kyobo won't have it in stock; it took them half a year to get the newest Artemis Fowl book in stock.

Exact opposite for me. I tend to skim and forget the smaller details.

Which may be why I reread so often. I find out stuff that I never knew or worse, forgot.

I tend to read slow and forget what I just read a page ago.

About Saga of Fire and Ice, love your main characters, as they may die any page now. This story is brutal enough that after reading 3rd volume I'm waiting for it to end so I can read the whole thing just once more and never have to live through it again.

A Game of Thrones? More like A Game of Penises in Vaginae!

EDIT:
QUOTE

You were off by about 906. And wrong about the series title. And wrong for being Boggyb, anyway :<
