And if you have the means, you can even have the original 151 if you don't like any of the new ones. The game itself is short -- all of the card memory is taken up by the data for 600-odd Pokeymans.

QUOTE(radixius @ Mar 15 2011, 04:41) The B/W and D/P games each have a new 151, B/W moreso reflects the original 151 in basically every way.
I don't quite understand you. The original 151 are still in it, right? This kinda' worries me.

The game has every Pokemon ever. You can't catch them all, but you can trade them over. QUOTE(Anto of the Sand @ Mar 15 2011, 01:14) This kinda' worries me.
Standard Pokemon game length.

I was more worried that I'd have to go to some kind of download style lengths to put the 151 in my game. If I can get; 1) Cubone, 2) Gyarados, 3) All the original psychics, 4) Scyther, and 5) Nidoking I'll be happy.
Ahh, those were the days.

After you fill the Unova Pokedex, I can only assume you can start on the old ones. You can probably find people benevolent enough to send you those over the Nintendo WFC.

It's not a big deal. I mean, if you're that worried about it, just stick to FR and LG for the GBA.

I want one of the big games. This one being the biggest. But to me, it sounds like the equivolent of watching "the Simpsons" without the Simpsons. I do realise that current (Simpsons centric) "the Simpsons" is not good anyway.

I'm enjoying Gen V just fine, honestly, because I'm not expecting to get all 646 of the things, nor do I care, particularly, if I get the first 151, the second 100, the third 135 or the fourth 107. The current 153 is just fine for me, because otherwise I fear it would be far too unwieldy to even attempt trying to get all the motherfuckers.

I don't even care about catching them all or building a perfect team. I'm going to catch the cool-looking ones and just rape face with them, using under-handed tactics if necessary.

I started Black and was like "What teh fuck are IVs and EVs? Fashion shows? What is this shit?" So then I decided to screw them all and just max the fuckers out.

And when they're crummy, that's bad.

It's all relative. I really don't see why you bothered responding.

I don't get all this hate over the new Pokemon. Seems like people can find faults with anything.
I'm only at the third gym and I love what I've seen so far. I only have two problems as of yet,
First is that there's a lack of variety in the Pokemon catchable early on. I can deal with that, though, and it's probably more of a bias on my part than anything else.
Second is that the third gym city was so fucking magnificent I nearly lost the will to play. Seriously. So fucking awesome. Just the bridge trip itself was enough to leave me in awe.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME.
