A lot of the newer idiots do stupid shit, then say they did it on purpose to get a reaction out of the people who they annoyed. It's all "ha ha, I like annoying people" or "making you angry was my goal" or some other shit like that. This, I believe, is one of three reasons.

1) They fucked up and don't want to admit it, and blatantly lie to save face, which doesn't work cause it doesn't fool anyone. Most common.
2) They fucked up, and delude themselves into thinking that everything went according to plan.
3) They really are just a bunch of dipshits who make it known that trolls before trying to troll.

It is, I believe, much like the movie director who makes a crappy film and declares it to be 'meta' when it gets bad reviews. It's because the critics and haters don't 'get it'. It's because the audience doesn't 'get it'. This is 'mega', bro! It's parodying and satirizing the crappiness of other films. It's a deconstruction!

But it's not. It's just a crappy piece of shit film. Fuckers are just backpedaling. And that's what I find more annoying than anything.

The plethora of fools we had a while back seemed to have been engaging in the same activities. They do stupid shit, are shocked when everyone calls them out for it. Then they decide that the only way to resolve the situation is to pretend it was their intention all along, instead of you know, admitting they were dumbasses. PRJ is a good example of such, I believe.

Even worse is the half-assed fool who just wants attention and pretends to be a troll. See: Unwanted posting those fucking numbers over and over and when Rob asked why he did that shit, gloating something along the lines of "ha ha I got you to ask me that".

They're not even trolls. Trolls are amusing. They have an art.

There was a time when you could classify trolling as an art, but that is long gone, along with the proper use of fail and win. I use a different word these days to classify what trolling used to be: I call it besting, because it is what that is.
