Ask Boggyb the rest of credits nicely. Once I did a similar mistake, I bought 10 hath thinking as 20, he (the seller) gave me back some credits after I PM'd him (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by cmdct: Oct 9 2010, 00:53

Go back to Big Red Robot. I like that one. Nostalgia, y'know?

FUCK DAMMIT! Note to self: The danger of natural gas pockets is very high below -5000ft. The radiator/hull combination withstands 2 blast. Hull repair nanites should be used to repair the hull after blasts.

Weld jumper cables to the hull, since it generates electricity when heated by magma.

[ www.xgenstudios.com] This game.I was making a jab at "The Core", one of the most brazenly scientifically inaccurate films ever. At one point, their engines die so they decide to power their ship by hotwiring power cables to the hull, which generate power under the immense heat and pressure of tunneling in the earth's crust. If you've never seen it and you've got some time to kill, give it a watch. I had a good LOL at all the bad science.

I've been 6000 feet down, and got the motherload transmission, but no motherload.

Be sure to bring enough big explosives with you, the amount of gas pockets down there is just sickening. You won't be able to dig at all.

Explosives? I have the best hull and radiator money can buy, the only thing not gully upgraded is my bay, but it's 2nd to best. The last trip that got this, I had a fully upgraded hull, then everything else was at the 2nd to full level. How does the motherload compare? Double post. Also, the supplies I took were 6 units of nanites, 6 fuel boosters, and a quantum teleporter. I did have enough fuel to go back out the tunnels I made, but my pod was so heavy it would only hover, so I had to teleport to the surface. All supplies were consumed.

1. don't take too many risks 2. try to have a straight line that leads to surface. 3. you need the explosives once you're ready to go below 6000 feet. Upgrade everything, get nanites and Plastic Explosives.
Also, what do you mean with 'How does the motherload compare?'

Did you mean motherload as a location, or the zone below 6000ft? I'm on a more efficient misson, and found the mineral transmitter, so I have unlimited space. I still have to haul the weight to the surface though. I'm making straight down tunnels now, so I'm taking a shitload of dynamite to blast rocks and magma. I now carry a matter transmitter, and enough nanites to fully heal my hull 4 times over. Also, wouldn't C-4 destroy too many valuables, or is it to just blast my way down instead of digging?
