Apparently there was a vote on it. No one considered the repercussions of that vote, though. Changing the rule from the 8 or less update expunge and making it 2 updates a month means that the abhorrent practice of making multiple galleries of the same topic is an even more common and encouraged practice. I hate seeing the same person make multiple galleries of the same topic. I find it a horrible and stupid practice, and now that they can only update the same gallery twice a month, that will just encourage people to make new galleries with the same topic.
