Why do Americans call their sport "football" anyway? The only time the ball ever comes into contact with feet is when it gets punted. Most of the time, they're giving it to a guy who carries it and runs into a wall of other dudes. Not that it isn't amusing when there's an amazing play.

It's not like that anymore, more like it's less popular than the traditional "US sports", but is gaining more popularity, and no wonder, it's the king of sports after all.

I've turned on the shitty sporting event that is called the World Cup. Headers or attempts at headers seem to be as common as shots on the goal.

Tennis is only popular in the U.S. when there is a good U.S. player.
