My friend's cat got stuck up a tree once and we invented the "chip on a stick" to get her down. We got a long stick and stuck chewed bubble gum on the end and stuck a potato chip to that and raised it up in the tree and lured the cat down with the chip. No lie.

Lol, yeah. Total desperation to get her down. And she loved potato chips.

When she was a little kitten, we got a white tube sock and cut little armholes in it and attached a tissue to the back of it for a cape and dressed her up as Elvis. No lie.

It speaks volumes when I'm volunteering to help an 80-year old man run a Yakisoba booth in 90 degree weather, but I can't get any of my friends to stay and help us close up shop.

I love kitties, but I can't have them, they all suffer a tragic death, the first 3 died by the hands of my dog (or more precisely mouth), until finally learn that a cat isn't a rabbit.
The next one only lived about 1 year, because of her love with snakes, the following cat died because he loved cars.
After these disasters, the last one, which I didn't even gave a name, I only called come here cat lasted for 4 years, and that was very surprising, not only because of the record, but also because she loved to have cat fights, even after she lost an eye.
She was found dead one day, we think she was food poisoned (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

That reminds me—I took this one photo... Some say it's hilarious, adorable or hideous. I've received mixed reactions. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

It's of my dog, a Rottweiler/Border Collie mix, wearing her tailored sweater and mittens, while wrestling one of my sister's cats. This was about 5 years ago, back when they were both less than a year old.

That's why you'd probably want to get the cat fixed (so it doesn't want to roam) and maybe keep it indoors and away from the dog. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Cats are very self-sufficient but they still need a lot of care.

The dog is a trained dog to kill whatever it moves, and didn't know what a cat was, but now he's friendly with them, it even let stray cats eat his food sometimes.
I'll try to get the cat fixed next time, I hope that works.

My 1st cat had a depressive couple of days when stopped eating and chipped a tooth. He died from that eventually.
The one after him-car
The one after him is as big as our dog but is the most traumatised cat that ever lived. He's frightened of ceiling fans.
One after him ran off somewhere. But he loved the house so he is now presumed dead.
The last one, probably had the worst time. She was found lying in pain in our garden at 6:00 AM with a broken back. My *insert family member I won't mention* then recalled hearing hideous suffering cries of something around 8 PM the night before. Then eventually we figured that it was either a car or another dog who fucked around with her a bit in his mouth then threw her off somewhere, then she made her way up our stairs to the garden with her two front feet and just laid there the entire night. We had someone put her to sleep afterwards. I kept the needle's cap.
So now I'm waiting to see how my month old kitteh goes off.
