It's a known issue as it doesn't keep enough state to go back to the "real" previous page, but I'm not sure if it'll be fixed or not.

After using it for a while, I think watched tags with a negative value should be first in the list of tags, since they're warning about things that may not have been hidden, yet the user still chose to especially warn himself about them.
The optimal thing would be that lowest scores appear first, but already treating the groups of "negative" and "positive" would be good.

I've been simulating this functionality by applying a weight of +99 to my unfiltered but disliked tags. This is an imperfect solution though, as it means those galleries will never go below my threshold for filtering.

This is such a good addition to the website. I've been hoping for something like this tag watching system for so long. The only suggestion I'd add is to give an option in the settings to change the size of thumbnails, especially for Extended mode, which is currently slightly too big in my opinion.

I had "female only" watched, but it didn't work.

I think this is from the time Tag Flagging settings were recovered, allowing non-working flaggings (this one was wrongly spelled and lacking the namespace) to be imported.

I'm currently fixing it manually, but I'm reporting it for others that would not have realized some things were not working right yet.

The new minimal listing considers the entire row as clickable/onhover area, including the empty space after the gallery title/link. Previously, moving the mouse to the empty parts made the thumbnail preview go away.

If this is an intended change, I'll get used to it eventually. Showing the obscured info below the thumbnail itself helps a bit, although it's not the best experience, since it's not in line with the current row (and can't be), it moves, and the position varies depending on the thumbnail's dimensions.

I'm currently fixing it manually, but I'm reporting it for others that would not have realized some things were not working right yet.

That's because it still exists in the system but might not have been assigned to the females only tag group when you added it (currently a slave of that group). Any tag that is in the system can be added including slaves (will auto-suggest and add the corresponding master) and blocked tags that are not yet purged.

If people have other issues with watched, please make sure:
- there is at least 1 gallery matching the watched tag published in the past 7 days (or 30 days for gold star and above)
- your "My Tags" filters and "My Settings" thresholds and filters don't prevent the tag or a gallery from showing up
- the tag has at least 10 power in the corresponding gallery (must be searchable; low-power and downvoted tags will not work)
- no more than 12 flagged tags apply to the corresponding gallery for any mode other than Extended (for them to all appear) and your screen width allows for it; if you don't mind multiple rows, just unset the CSS overflow:"collapse" property or they will still be hidden.

That's because the entire area is a link (within an anchor HTML tag).

A quick hack to disable this behavior involves either creating a temporary node to replace that anchor and then use a proper anchor for the gallery title or injecting HTML code changes after storing and killing the anchor's href attribute and innerHTML property.

If it was a random ungrouped dead tag that would be expected, but if it's slaved to a master, it should update it to use the master whenever you visit the tags management page.

The only drawbacks are:

1. The whole link is previewable, compared to just the name of the gallery (which is mentioned above and hopefully fixed soon)

2. The lack of a glossy button option ( just cosmetic, but makes it more bearable for the eyes)

What is not currently acceptable for me is that once has passed since you started your new session on the site the bold on timestamps resets back to only the last hour since you start browsing the search/watched pages respectively. It also continues to do this constantly no matter how active you are on the search/watched pages. If I am off for multiple days and want to spend a couple or few hours browsing what I missed I've now got to get that done in an hour now? It seems that both E-H and ExH are working from the same system of timestamps instead of separate cookies, so I don't have a backup or ability to make a smaller checks one day and then a more full sweep when I have more time at some other point (I saw a user on the update log thread mention this issue when he uses the HV). This legitimately is the thing that is taxing my enjoyment of the site the most right now. Losing that forced me revert to my old system of having a sticky note on my desktop with the timestamp of the last gallery I saw visibly on the front page and using an open Favorite slot as a marker too...well I would use a Favorite slot that way if I had any available...

This is not normal. Something is probably wrong at your end if you are still seeing this.

Indeed, i was set the "Minimum font side" to 14, set it to 12 fix the problem.

I am bringing this up again: is there a reason why the "My Uploads" page still uses the old navigation bar? Or is this page waiting for an overhaul as well?

Just dropping by to say how great the changes are.
I've seen a lot of people say that the thumbnails are too big in extended mode, but personally I think it's great, since my eyesight is shit even when wearing glasses, it help me a lot, I can't see details at all in small images.

As for the category buttons, I'll miss the old ones just because that's what I'm used to, but I don't think the new ones look bad, they grow on you.

I already had tag flagging, but the new system is much improved, and I'm looking forward to playing around with it. It's a shame about the spent hath, but it's no big loss, it's good that everyone has access to it now since it's such a useful feature. I used to have a userscript that worked along with tag flagging, but your new system already does exactly what I needed so I won’t be needing it anymore.

Not quite, in the old system as long as you kept active in the search pages the New icons would remain until you went and stopped searching for more than half an hour (aka-cookies). That then was what triggered the New icon to reset. Now the system just seems to ignore that and resets regardless after an hour no matter what you are doing (based solely on the session). See TB's OP:

The timestamps used for last visit displays are now stored with your session rather than in a cookie; the front/search page and watched page are tracked separately.

I know this is all true because before the update, I used to be able to be off for a couple/few days at a time and then would do a mass catch up spending multiple hours browsing all the stuff I missed. Now unless I get it all done in an hour the bolded/italics disappear without warning and give me a big middle finger... Also as someone else pointed out in the Update Log 2019 thread EH and ExH are no longer using separate cookies so I've stopped using the glorified dark mode as I can't employ the technique of doing tagging on EH everyday and checking/catching up on galleries using ExH.

Current work around I use for that issue is to use an Incognito window to make a basic search without screwing up my "new" session.

Honestly I am pretty fine with the new update now, though not really sold on the Min/Min+/Comp thumbnail always being present when you are on the cell for the search/favorite pages even with the date/favorite/rating info provided. I still find myself just sliding my mouse to the left off the cell because it's simply easier than shifting the eyes every time I need to see that info...I feel it'd just be nicer if the thumbnail didn't display unless your cursor was on the actual title of the gallery as was how the site operated before the current update went live.

I figure when I get around to it at some point the watched page will probably help alleviate some of these annoyances by allowing me to create a watch taglist to check most of the galleries I'd normally be looking for anyway. Then maybe do general browsing on the search page after that.

For some reason the order of gl5t and gl6t elements in div of thumbnail mode are swapped, it'd be nice if you could look into it. Thanks!
