It's probably be a good idea to always show tags in enabled tagsets, or at the very least watched tabs. Otherwise, you can end up with galleries on the watched-page that appear to have no reason to be there, as it seems the watched-system considers tags with a power of less than 100, but the displays on the search results do not.
I'd even suggest generally displaying tags with a power beyond 10 (possibly after tags with a power of 100+), mostly because these tags are often very relevant, especially in unpopular galleries, or galleries that had their language tagged wrong and are undergoing language-voting - I noticed that with the old tag-flagging system; galleries would show u when I searched for "l:eng", but did not get the flag I had assigned to it.

Just noticed something rather weird. Too many tags will "overflow" in Compact mode, leaving next to nothing (maybe even nothing under the proper circumstances).
EDIT: Fixed, thanks Tenb! :)

QUOTE(AkaiKurai @ Mar 19 2019, 15:34) Can't search for "all the way through" without the quotes anymore.
That was always the intended behavior. Underscores are wildcards here, not space replacements. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Gallery_Searching#Operators

I wanted to jump in on the negativity and say I absolutely love the new design. It's much more modern.

Hmm, yeah, you're right, it wasn't pruning off excess tags correctly. That should be fixed now.

I like the new watched page so i don't have to click through boring vanilla shit to find my rape. But would it be possible to mark new galleries since my last visit?

Since I use thumbnail mode it's strictly a downgrade, I see far less than I did before, clicking to open the torrents is more of a hassle, and there's more empty space. Modern sure, but "modern" in regards to websites is analgous to "inferior" almost as a rule.

Man 3 columns and thumbnail mode looks way too big on tablet and desktop, 4 or being able to set it yourself would make it so much easier on the eyes

Thanks for the quickfix Tenboro. :) QUOTE(Ichy @ Mar 19 2019, 20:31) Also I don't see galleries with tags while browsing normally? Probably in Minimal mode? Tags only display in Compact, Extended and Thumbnail modes. For all the searchable tags, you'll want Extended. For casual browsing, Compact/Thumbnail is enough. If you literally don't care about displaying tags (and don't want covers either), go Minimal. This post has been edited by 43883: Mar 19 2019, 22:47

Total pages don't show in thumbnail view anymore. Is there any possibility of a legacy mode? I also really dislike the new icons. The old ones were better. SOUL vs. SOULLESS.

The new icons for categories are hideous. There should be an option to switch to the old ones like you can switch from the new UI to the old one.

Just noted now how the filters behave...can we get an option to hide thumbnails, while still showing the gallery (when using the "hidden" setting or when it's below the threshold with tag scores) in the search instead of hiding the gallery altogether?
There are some troubles in "checking out" filtered galleries when they are past page 1 in the search. Especially when one of these tags is one of those sensitive tags that invalidates a whole gallery for just a page.
About sensitive tags, since we're talking about it, we should really get some more info in the warning screen when trying to open a gallery with one of those...for example saying which sensitive tags are present. (again, especially when a whole gallery is "invalidated" for just a page)

"The old "glassy" category buttons were replaced with a set of CSS buttons inspired by a theme from LadyChocolatine,"
I think they looked much better and would like them back, or some kind of toggle for those that preferred them.

It should just be called The Golden Girls Galleries because it's similar to the hideous 1980s Miami themed decor and fashion. The bright baggy clothes, yucky wicker furniture and gaudy banana leaf wallpaper.
Speaking of which, when you click on that disgusting Banana Cream Cake gallery that Maximum_Joe has going through there every other day, it's like a futa Blanche Devereaux might jump out at you.

We were discussing about doing away with the content warning screen completely as you can already do that by changing modes or using your taglist(s) in a clever way - only one taglist is required so no need for a donation. It's pretty subjective since it depends on what tags you'd consider as "offensive". If you want the old behavior, just set snuff, guro, etc. to Hidden or give them a nasty negative weight. Or don't touch the weight or visibility, pick an ugly color for them and change modes. Many creative ways to hide them, the latter won't hide the gallery - which would seriously hurt your searches.
