I'd hardly call it agonizing though. 2% evade is just so much better then 10% less burden or interference... especially when I only have 5.2 interference and 18.7 burden... now 50% less burden or interference that might be enticing.

Gonna have to agree with Uth. Hito could probably use the interference reduction, considering the full plate setup, but my interference is a nice 24.5 with my normal setup, and my burden is mid 30's, so losing 3 points doesn't do me much good. Not looking forward to godslayer as much now, was hoping for like +5% evade or something.

I think the "doubling" part that he was looking for (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And you say "for every 250 points of proficiency" like it could happen more than once, but that's the prof cap, so it's not like that's going to happen (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I do hope that it gets a bit of a power increase since from my testing it doesn't appear to be worth using right now D:

It was just an example. Shield has a proficiency scale of /10, so that's 25 times as powerful with 250. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

@Tenboro, I was in the middle of redoing my AP slots & had to reset again due a DOOH! on my part. (I'm not asking for a refund) & thought it would be nice to be able to reset individual trees say for 100C or 200C per tree.
Just a thought

Pretty sure Tenb has mentioned before that this would be a massive bitch to implement and that there are more pressing matters that need to be attended to.

Shield would actually be worth using if the block attribute became 25 times as powerful and not 25% more powerful. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I just (Blazing Fields) got an [Average Leather Breastplate]. I thought that the system was supposed to give only items with an adjective (ex. platinum or "of something")? I'll keep this junk in my inventory for a few days in case Ten wants to check it.

Nope. The chance was so that weapons always have a proc.

I've noticed some things. Not specifically 0.4.1 things, but things in general.

First thing:

That's the result of casting Absorb, for those of you who haven't used it. It seems a little odd to me that an attack can be Absorbed even if it misses. You might think "so what, you have a better chance of getting some of your mana back", but what if you're up against two or more magic-using opponents? Having your Absorb go down because it caught an attack that wasn't going to hit you anyway is the last thing you want to happen.

And I think it looks odd too. An Absorbed spell should just evaporate or something. It shouldn't go on to be blocked, or resisted, or lightly tickle you for zero damage. On second thoughts, maybe it should tickle you? Well, that's just an aesthetic issue; the first point was the serious one.

Second thing:

Also, it would be nice to get a warning when you attempt to do a montage and all your proficiencies are capped.

I've also seen messages of

5 5 You evade the attack from Scary Ghost.
5 4 The hostile spell is drained. You gain 49 Magic Points.
5 3 Scary Ghost casts Haunt

8 4 You resist the attack from Zombie Cow.
8 3 The hostile spell is drained. You gain 52 Magic Points.
8 2 Zombie Cow casts Moo

and really its probably making people waste more mana cause you rarely get more mana then the casting cost. I also don't remember it doing this before 4.0 so something with the log change might have caused it but I can't be sure.

Your warning is that the gains from the previous montage, which are listed before you start a new one, are all either capped or <0.02.
