regarding the Plate vs. Leather topic: personally i always found Leather having better overall protections than Plate. only reason i may still found for Plate would be Shielding prefix, but still not worth all the hassle.

A question about Resplendent Regeneration, even after reading the wiki I don't get it, does it increases the draught or elixir recovery? I never paid much attention to it since I attributed it to the off-battle recovery which doesn't exist anymore, is it worth it?

Some spend 1 ticket for every lottery like me. Some go ultra hard with 20k tickets on good lottery. You can't go higher than that.

From what I've seen for staffs, Pen 5 + Spell 4 or Pen/Spell 4 + Eco 1 seems pretty popular.

I just got Spell 5 + Pen 4, should I reforge or keep it?

If it's your end-game staff, then yes. If it's just a good staff, no. And if your out of patience or shards, use it for a couple of months before reforging.

I don't do lotteries much so I don't know. I guess it doubles your tickets, so if you have 1000 tickets, you effectively have 2000 at the moment RNGesus does his job.

i have added this feature to monsterbation, to use it you can set crystallKey = true and crystallNowaste and crystallLevelcap as you wish. hit F and wait for the page to reload and display your upgraded monsters. please let me know if it behaves in the manner you desire
